Learning alot lately about dissapointment. Reaching out to try and do things to see God's kingdom expand. Not always seeing the hoped expansion. No explanation for this. But keep trying regardless. Don't know what else I would do to show my love. Ran into some quotes recently that make me think about this subject.
"I figured from the beginning that it would mean a life of poverty. Because puzzles don't pay much. But I wanted to do puzzles so badly that I was willing to live a life of poverty in order to do it." - Will Shortz 'New York Times Puzzles Editor'
Good quotes don't need an explanation. It's like trying to explain a good joke. If you don't see it, read it again. Here's another from my second favorite blind celebrity (Stevie Wonder is #1 of course).
"I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty and joy to accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble...for the world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of tiny pushes of each honest worker. - Helen Keller
So I push ahead in spite of the difficulty or frustration hoping to turn a corner at some point to get a fresh glimpse of the mission we're on.
